KINGS POINT, N.Y. (Dec. 12, 2015)- Juniors Josh Sibblies (Newton, N.J. / Newton) and Anthony Kubish (Hamilton, N.J. / Hamilton East) along with freshmen Christopher Muce (Monroe Township, N.J. / Monroe Township) and Etiini Udott (Piscataway, N.J. / Piscataway) all recorded two victories apiece as the Centenary College wrestling team competed in the Mariner Duals host by the United States Merchant Marine Academy.  

Despite the impressive showing, the Cyclones lost 25-21 to LIU Post University and 28-17 to the host Merchant Marine Academy. Centenary's record now stands at 0-6.

Sibbies defeated Juan Carlos Diaz from LIU Post by major decision (12-3) and Jospeh Fiore from USMMA by decision (11-3). Kubish defeated Corey Ashe from LIU Post by major decision (12-1) and Paul Cavanagh by major decision (12-5). Muce defeated Matt Langan from LIU Post by decision (4-3) and Nathan Twito from USMMA by decision (2-1). Udott defeated Jake Horton from LIU Post via pinfall (2:18) and Dan Dubinsky from USMMA via pinfall (4:15)

Freshman Joe Zargo (Monroe Township, N.J. / Monroe Township) was the only other Cyclones to record a victory as he defeated Joe Paterno from LIU Post by major decision (11-2).  

Head Coach John Garriques and the Cyclones will return to action on Monday Jan. 4^th, as they will travel to Wilkes-Barre, Pa. to face the Colonels of Wilkes University at 7:00 p.m.
