Legion Field

Located on Willow Grove Street in Hackettstown, less than a mile from campus, Legion Field is the home for the Centenary softball team. The field, located behind the American Legion building, features two dugouts, outfield fences and a snack shop on the premises.

IMPORTANT PARKING INFORMATION FOR LEGION FIELD
Parking for softball games must be in the lot near the playground/pavilion.  When that lot is full you may park on the street (Russell Court) or in the larger parking lot near the basketball hoop/outfield (EXCEPT ON FRIDAYS OR DAYS WHEN THE LEGION HALL IS RENTED).
 
NO PARKING ON FRIDAYS
No parking may occur in the large parking lot (near the basketball hoop/outfield) on Friday afternoons/evenings as that lot is reserved for Legion attendees and guests of their “Friday Night Dinners”.
 
FROM ROUTE 80:
Route 80 West to Exit 19 (Hackettstown/Andover) 
Make a left off exit onto Route 517 towards Hackettstown 
Follow Route 517 (it becomes High Street) for approx. 5 miles until you reach the Main Street intersection (Traffic Light, Eckert Drugs on left corner) 
Make a left onto Main Street (also Route 46 East) and when you come to the second traffic light (Hess Station on left corner) make a left turn onto Willow Grove St. 
Continue on Willow Grove Street for approximately 1.5 miles until you see the American Legion Building on the right. 
Legion Field is behind the building. 

FROM ROUTE 46:
Route 46 West through Budd Lake 
You will come to a 3-way intersection at Main Street (Shell Station on left, David's Country Inn in front of you) 
Make a sharp right hand (go between the Hess Station and Bank) onto Willow Grove St. 
Continue on Willow Grove Street for approximately 1.5 miles until you see the American Legion Building on the right. 
Legion Field is behind the building.
